I finally selected some photos of the site preparation activities for Hidden Acres RV & Boat Storage between the Fall 2020 and Summer 2021. This three acre clearing was created in the late 1950’s when the nearby lakeshore was developed – the soil from the clearing was transported to build up the waterfront, which was then divided into cottage lots and sold. With the help of Charles McLellan Excavation and Thomas Cavanagh Construction, I improved the driveway, levelled the clearing and scraped it to bedrock, then topped it with packed road grindings to allow clean, safe, outside storage of RV’s, boats and trailers.
